Floyd Country Store (206 S Locust St., Floyd, VA), from 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Everyone's invited to join the demonstration singing at the Floyd Country Store as part of Floyd's 2025 Living Traditions Festival with more singing to follow in the park.
Our demonstration singing will be the first of 3 performances that night. Admission for non-singers is $10, as these performances are a part of the store's regular Friday Night Jamboree.
Parking: There are free parking lots and street parking in the town, including a lot across from the Floyd Country Store.
Accessibility: The Floyd Country Store has a ramp on the left side of the building. The front door has two wide steps leading up to it.
Springhouse School (144 Silver Maple Ln NE, Pilot, VA), from 10:00am - 3:30pm
Free and open to all! No RSVP required, but follow the Facebook event for updates.
Registration begins at 9:30am
Parking: There is limited parking, so please carpool if possible. The roads leading to the school are also unpaved and there is a sharp incline to the parking lot.
Food: There'll be a potluck lunch on the grounds. There is a full-kitchen on site (fridge, stove, and oven).
Accessibility: There is an accessible parking space in the gravel lot, about 30 feet from the ramp up to the main entrance. The main entrance door is wooden and heavy, and there is a threshold with a lip of approximately 1 inch that needs to be cleared when entering from the porch. There is a single-occupancy accessible restroom located on this level, which has a grab bar next to the toilet. There is a ramp leading down into the main hall where we sing. From the entry-level, there is a 7-inch step down into the kitchen; however, food will be set up in the main hall for lunch.
